We're two people from Iraq who wanted to take our work beyond the local market. Idanite grew out of that decision and the work we put into it.

We chose to establish the company in the United States for its financial services and, honestly, because we thought it was cool.

The name doesn't have a special meaning. We liked the way Idanite sounded, like it could be the name of an ore. You can also pronounce it "i-da-na-tee," like "identity." Either way works for us.
